Define a unit
A unit is a consistent fraction of a separate, affordable betting bankroll. It lets results be compared without exposing personal currency amounts. The bankroll should consist only of money you can lose without affecting bills, debt payments or savings.
Expect variance
Even selections with positive expected value can lose repeatedly. Short-term outcomes do not prove or disprove a method. Stakes should remain small enough that normal losing runs do not trigger panic or reckless increases.
Avoid chasing
Do not increase stakes to recover losses, borrow to gamble or treat a Double Up sequence as guaranteed. Set deposit, loss and time limits before starting, and take a break if gambling stops feeling controlled.
- Keep personal finances separate.
- Use fixed, pre-defined units.
- Review results over a meaningful sample.
- Use operator self-exclusion tools when needed.
